What is Book ‘N’ Scoop?
Let’s start at the beginning
Back around my 4th grade year, I struggled with reading. This made me fall behind, and ended up making me struggle in the future. Because of my bad experience with reading, I decided to create Book ‘N’ Scoop for 2 reasons 1. so no one has to go through the experience I went through, and 2. It was covid, so all the libraries had shut down, so I was worried that the kids would not be able to read.
Now, what is Book ‘N’ Scoop? (this time for real)
Book ‘N’ Scoop is a non profit organization I made in 2020. Over all, we have donated over 1,000 books so far. The goal is to encourage kids to read by supplying them with a scoop of ice cream after they read a book. For now however, I will collect your books, and donate them to lending libraries, and less fortunate areas where books are less common. I hope this helped, enjoy your ice cream.
